In Philadelphia, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across Pennsylvania, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My loved one was seen in the ER and needed f/u labs as stated in the discharge summary. The labs in ED was abnormal and pcp follow up was recommended. I set up an initial appointment for my family member as I'm the primary caregiver. The NP who saw us could have been more professional but I let that slide as long as they repeated labs and the treatments were appropriate. Maybe I expected too much to get a phone call at the least for abnormal labs results. We called initially at least 6 times in two weeks leaving msgs for results. No one returned our call. Another week finally a staff person answered stating, you have to make an appointment for someone to give results. That makes NO SENSE!!!! I asked for a return call to speak about this. No return call. Lastly, we made another appointment with another provider. While waiting for that appointment to come we randomly called 4 times in one day just hoping to get answers. We finally got someone on the phone who informed us the labs were abnormal and my Loved one needed an antibiotic. The initial appointment was in FEBRUARY!!!! It's Now Mid APRIL!! Have they ever heard of Sepsis!!! This should have never been left to Fester. I can't hel

Donβt go to this health center UNPROFESSIONAL. You can make an appointment show up for your appointment early and they will act like your appointment doesnβt exist. Then when you show them that you called the hotline they will act like the number you call doesnβt exist but then hand you a business card with the same number YOU CALLED. The end results the doctor doesnβt see you like you have time to waste to travel to a doctor office not to get seen. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR OFFICE

It is time to express my honest thoughts for so long. Despite this clinic being quiet and calm and a social worker being generous to help patients apply for Health Partners, the desk staff always say that they only take scheduled appointments via phone call. However, most other clinics take walk-ins. On top of that, this center is probably the only clinic that somewhat forces us to watch uncomfortable and enabling psychological stuff about depression (which bipolar disorder is no longer called "manic depression") and schizophrenia on television that almost no patients pay attention, and this clinic shouldn't act like Wedge Medical Center. Thirdly, certain nurses take about an hour to finally give us a check-up, regarding our physical health or vaccines. Lastly, certain nurses in all of my appointments are pushy for asking me or even misdiagnosing me if I only have depression, which I mostly don't, as well as pressuring me to not eat anymore fried food and yolk eggs due to either their bias opinion or outdated research after I got blood work done, even if I am a picky eater or I have a neurodevelopmental disability. To sum up all of my points, I refuse to come here again, and I hig
